meeting Banny in Mumbai

バニー(あかね)は、「世界青年の船」というプログラムで一緒だった友人の一人。ムンバイに住んでることを知ってたから、行ったら会いたいと思っていて。連絡をしたら、帰国間近とのこと。Banny(Akane) is one of the friends from SWY20.I knew that she is living in Pune, so I was thinking that if I visit Mumbai, I want to meet her.After I planned my schedule and had contact with her, she said she is leaving Mumbai soon,by the time I will be in Mumbai, there are only a week left for her in Mumbai!

それでも、私がムンバイにいる間の予定の中で、この13日という日なら大丈夫とのことだった。帰国を1週間後に控えてて大変なのに、ありがとう！そう、プネーを出て、その足で彼女を訪問したのです。長距離バスに乗り、路線バスに乗り。。。なんとかおうちにたどり着き。But she said 13th Oct will be ok during the days that I will be around Mumbai.Thank you for making time for me.So, after leaving Pune, I visited her.One long distance bus, then a short distance bus.I could safely arrived her home.

久々の再会。なのに、久々になんて感じない。彼女のお子さん、マハルちゃんにも初対面。生後4ヵ月半くらいとのこと。久々に赤ちゃんを抱っこしました。やっぱりかわいいなぁ。。。I haven't met her a while, but didn't feel like so.I met her baby, Maharu, for the first time.She is about 4.5 months old.I holed a little baby in a long time.So cute!
彼女のおうちの近くにランチに行き、数週間ぶりにインド料理でないものを食べた。しかも、1ヶ月以上口にしていなかったお肉を自然に選んで！チキンをいただきました。しばらくベジタリアンでいたけど、無理してベジタリアンを続けるつもりもなく、メニューを見ていて、これにしようと思って、ベジタリアン生活に終止符を打ったわけです。We went out for lunch, I ate something not Indian in a few weeks.Also, I naturally chose non-veg food which I haven't eaten for more than a month!I ate chicken.I'd been vegetarian, but wasn't gonna be vegetarian strictly,I just felt like eating one of the foods in the menu and it wasn't vegetarian,then I finished my vegetarian life. 

5時間くらいの滞在はあっという間。
あれこれ話したり、マハルちゃんと遊んだり。。。うん、やっぱりまたムンバイに戻ってきて、バニーと会えて、マハルちゃんと会えて良かった！I was with her about 5 hours, and that time past away so quickly.We talked, and played with her baby...Yes, I'm glad that I came back to Mumbai to meet you, Banny and Maharu.

帰り駅まで送ってくれて。お別れはやっぱり寂しく。私は一足遅れ、1月に帰国します。ので、帰国したらまた会おうねぇ♪They gave me lift to the station.Saying bye isn't fun.I will be back to Japan on January...later than you.We will meet again in Japan♪
